It did not mop and its cleaning pad that was removable was difficult to attach. It also couldn't handle dirt that was dried on.
The app is basic and lacks features such as multiple cleaning modes and automated scheduling. It does work with Alexa however its voice controls aren't intuitive or responsive. And it's also a little flaky when it comes to getting back to the charging station following running -- other robots can follow a previous route or sensibly follow a wall around until they get to their home, but the RX3 is a fumbler until it finally gives up and then sends a message about failure to your phone.
Another issue we faced was with its smart features, specifically the mapping function and digital keep-out zones. While it did a decent job of avoiding our furniture legs and shoes but it could easily be stuck by cables and socks and couldn't handle the tassels on rugs. We decided not to include the Scout RX3 on our Best Buy list.
